mainly because it feels just so right seeing my old folks looking happy, oh nevermind the occasional teasing/weird stares they gave each other for every disagreement.
behind all that, they love each other to bits lah :p
also with the known fact that my parents had never actually gone out of Malaysia except only for Umrah makes it even more meaningful than ever.
i don't have the energy to write a lengthy entry for that now, but mom makes me proud. hihi. Despite the fact that she has NEVER been to any of Indonesia part, she knows Bandung history quite well and even few Indonesian words *pingsan where on earth she knows all that?*
she even knows bandung songs, ole-ole ape entah bandung.
erk.
i learned all that when the supir who is as well our tourguide was amazed by mom's fact. it is as if they are long lost bestfriend likethat , berbicara tentang tangkuban perahu, the myth (or fact i have no idea) of perahu terlangkup, lagu2 lama bandung *yeah omg*.
mom should be our tour guide instead lah ok -_____-'
with all the love in the world
oh if you are not a shopper, Bandung is not the place for you. but being a *denial* shopper, i would suggest you to spend your time (and rupiah) at Pasar Baru and Factory Outlets (just ask locals or internet) because you don't need itinerary for all that.
Trust me, you don't want to go as far as Tangkuban Perahu to know there are 10,000 other tourists crowding the same volcano. I tell you, i stopped there less than 15mins :) and also skip the air panas too.
But for the first timer, you might want to experience it :) I am just giving you peeps the heads up.
i will cover up more, after i got home from jogja-solo-surabaya for sure :)
