The Way You Make Me Feel

The inflight entertainment awesomeness was the first sign of the next wonderful journey.

The fee is too greatly low to resist so when I hit the paid button, I was SURE there few people who will tag along.

NOT!

For the love of me, travel solo does not exist in my wishlist, let alone going on 18hours of flight to a totally different country with the infamous character/attitude of certain people (ok guilty!). I was everyday calling myself what-have-you-done-to-yourself-silly?!? during the last few months before embarking to what i would call it, a solo adventure by accident.
I almost dont want to talk about it and don't want to go.

But along the way as I dig deeper (and fell in love bits by bits), the feeling grows stronger, I just had to do it, alone or by myself.

almond flower blossoming. so dreamy and so much in love.

First, allow me to set the record straight from the beginning. Because we (ok, me) were quick to judge by analysis I've made from the internet reading (the scariest part of traveling solo).
But the people are nice, the guys are very (or overly :p ) gentlemen and the ladies always smiling.
I know I'll be missing Morocco even before I left.

Touts are everywhere and oh boy they are really persistent, but be very politely bold to say no with InsyaAllah. It helps alot, really.
I guess being a street smart needs to be on top of your checklist?
(rrright!)

My itinerary was to cover South (Marrakech and Sahara Desert!) and then up to North (other Imperial cities, Fez, Rabat, Meknes). They say South is more intriguingly characteristic and after experiencing it, I had to second that (but what do I know, I had never been to North!)

Lets take a peek of what I did:
1. Sleeping under stars at Zagora (I should've gone deeper to Merzouga where sand dunes holeyy massive big, NEXT TIME!).
2. Trekking Mount Atlas (love).
3. Visiting Old Medina - Marrakech's touristy places (tomb, museums, masjed, ruins).
4. Skiing at Ouikemeden - an adhoc plan but it was winter hey!
5. Roadtripping to Azilal (love love!).
6. Shopping at Marrakech's souq (I am a denial shopper I want to buy everything from the colorful plates, unique lamps to magical carpet, yes people, I almost bought carpetS -_-")

Because I follow what my heart says, I stayed in Marrakech the whole 2weeks I was there. No North whatsoever. and that 2weeks, was not sufficient enough to sum up everything Morocco has to offer.

More posts of Morocco coming next. you won't get bored, promise! lol.
